About Harry Banks
I'm a nature and landscape photographer and a computer technology educator living in Alask--and while some might think those two careers don't belong together, I like to think of myself as a bridge between "wild" and "wired." As a photographer, my mission is simple: capture the awe-inspiring beauty of the natural world while avoiding the occasional bear encounter (don't ask me how I know). My fine art prints bring these landscapes into homes, and I love sharing the adventure of finding the perfect shot. In the classroom, I teach future tech professionals how to navigate the world of software, systems, and networks.
